ICC Afghanistan

The International Chamber of Commerce in Afghanistan (ICC Afghanistan) established as non-government, non-profit, non-political and independent legal entity in Afghanistan acts as a permanent liaison between International Chamber of Commerce Headquarters and ICC members in Afghanistan, in accordance with the provisions of the tenth, eleventh and thirteenth of the Afghanistan Constitution, the ICC Global Partnership Agreement, and the Constitution. ICC Afghanistan represents the ICCWBO in Afghanistan and works with business groups worldwide to represent the voice of Afghanistan’s business at inter-governmental level, the UN, WTO, G20 and others We work to modernize the Afghanistan business to world-class standards and encourage more domestic and foreign investment in the country. The members of ICC Afghanistan are chambers of commerce, business associations, companies, corporations and individuals. It expands the linkage of its members through the ICC network which directly and indirectly links with thousands of corporations, chambers, associations and individuals in over 130 countries, it’s the entity which makes it easier to do business internationally. Muhammad Munir Kabiri
Muhammad Munir KabiriDeputy CEO / Acting Secretary General
Mr. Muhammad Munir Kabiri holds a bachelor’s in Natural Resources Management from Kabul university. Mr. Kabiri has been a development practitioner since 2011. He has been working in different capacities with national and international organizations in Afghanistan. His core engagement is private sector development and has had six solid years’ experience with Afghanistan Investment Support Agency (AISA) and Executive Committee on Private Sector Development (PriSEC) a National flagship for private sector development in Afghanistan.
Matiullah Hafizi
Matiullah HafiziOperation Director
Mr. Matiullah Hafizi holds a BBA degree in Business Administration and is an ACCA finalist; he has solid experience in the fields of Audit, Finance and Operations, and has worked for more than 10 years with national and international organizations as well as government of Afghanistan. Beside his current job as Operations Director with ICC Afghanistan, Mr. Hafizi is also a part-time lecturer at the Afghanistan Institute of Banking and Finance (AIBF)

Mr. Mohammad Aslam Popal holds a bachelor in BA Economics and Political science from a well-known university in India. Since graduating he has worked in different positions with UNHCR and US embassy contractor. currently, he is working with international chamber of commerce in Afghanistan since 2017.
Rafiullah Amiri
Rafiullah AmiriICT Manager
Rafiullah Amiri holds bachelors of Computer Science from Kardan University. He has been recognized as gold medalist during his bachelor. Prior joining ICC Afghanistan, he was worked with MoIA, Anham and delight. He has over 10 years of Experience in hand in Web Designing Web Development, Software Designing, Software Development, Database Management Web Application, Ghraphic Designing and Networking.
Khalil Rahman Burhani
Khalil Rahman BurhaniHead of Government Relations
Khalil Rahman Burhani holds Master of Science in Finance and Banking from Kabul University. Prior to joining ICC-Afghanistan he was working with PriSEC Executive Committee as a Private Sector Development Consultant. Mr. Burhani has 5 years of experience in strategic areas (Private Sector Development, Financial Planning & Analyses and Financial Accounting), and also worked as a Reporting Specialist for one year. He did research on essential topics such as ECO’s role in Afghanistan’s Economic development and Informal Economy & its impacts on Economy of Afghanistan. He successfully completed numerous short-term career training and soft-skills development programs like Value Chain & Market Study, Quick Book, Peachtree, Data Analysis & Technical Writing.

Mr. Zabihullah Habibi holds a bachelor on law from Hewad University. He has been involve in working with ICC Afghanistan in different positions for the past 4 years. Now he is working as a procurement officer.The Procurement Officer plays a key role in procuring high-quality and cost-efficient supplies for our organization. He is following procurement procedures of the ICC Afghanistan, maintains an updated list of inventory and incoming purchases and supplies, and is responsible for approving purchases.

Miss. Durani Mohibi has a bachelor degree from Gharjestan university and has some practical experience in the field of management and finance in difference organizations.
Miss. Mohibi has completed her Nursing diploma from Farabi health sciences institute, Promote Women`s Leadership Development program in Jack and also she has completed basic of Journalism course in Nai supporting Open Media in Afghanistan.
She has worked as a nurse with Estiqlal hospital and as social media controller in presidential election office. She was a finance controller with Amin Hotak company and a social activities officer with Shamal Radio and she is a finance assistant with international chamber of commerce in Afghanistan.
Freshta Hashimi
Freshta HashimiMembership & Public Relation Officer
Bachelor of journalism and communication form Kabul University. She has solid experience in the field of (journalism, communication and researching) and a journalist who has worked more than 4 years with national and international organization like (Bakhtar News agency, DHSA/TKG (Radio killd) and Kabul University media journalism) beside currently she is working with ICC as Public Relation Officer.
